During the pandemic the company experienced a surge in demand for its now 7,000 products, driven by home improvements, the buoyant housing market, direct to site delivery and new infrastructure projects.  The TIMCO Direct Delivery offering has been popular with builders’ merchants who can now ensure that products are delivered directly to their customers, improving service and efficiency.  Consequently, TIMCO has made investments of £3 million to increase warehouse space to 120,000 sq ft, and also secured six acres of land adjacent to its current site which will allow it to double its storage capacity, increase parking and grow the offices further in years to come.

TIMCO have recently introduced new shift patterns for its warehouse colleagues which allows for a better work life balance, a new competitive pay increase has been introduced and this is reviewed after six months in a role.

Simon Midwood, TIMCO MD, said: “We are keen to expand our TIMCO family and are looking for committed passionate team members to join us, especially in our warehouse. We are however always looking for good people and our move to hybrid working, for the office team, has been very well received by our current staff.  We are always looking at ways to improve our offering as we want to be the employer of choice in the Nantwich area.”
