Fairalls Builders’ Merchants participated in the 24/7 Vital Cycle fundraising campaign to raise money for Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex. The Fairalls team at the Godstone branch cycled 247 miles and helped the charity raise £20,000 in total.
Thomas Rawlinson of the Godstone branch, said: “The bike arrived and we had it set-up at our shop entrance so customers could see our efforts. It was hard work but we did it! It was a great team effort and we cycled our way to over £2,000. We are very grateful for all the donations for the charity either in store or via our justgiving page. KSS Air Ambulance has been Fairalls’ chosen charity for many years and we’re proud to continue that support by raising this money and also as a main sponsor of 24/7 Vital Cycle campaign.”
Helene Poursain, director of fundraising for the charity, said: “We rely on the generosity of our fundraisers to be able to deliver our vital service.”
