SIG, the distributor of specialist building products, has strengthened its national merchants team with the appointment of a new sales director and national accounts manager.
Aaron Frogley brings over 20 years’ experience to the post of merchants sales director, having previously worked as business development director at Pavestone UK Limited; national group accounts manager at Vado; and area sales manager at floor and heating company Varme.
Frogley will oversee all contact with the UK’s major buying groups and national merchants, with a focus on enhancing customer service levels and re-engaging with SIG’s merchant customers. He reports to SIG UK’s national sales director, Lucy Furnival.
Furnival said: “I’m delighted to welcome Aaron to the SIG team. Aaron’s experience and insight will be vital in helping us to build new relationships and re-establish older ones within our merchant customer base. As a national distributor who can offer a greatly improved service level, we add value to our Merchant customers and help them meet their growth plans.”
Joining Frogley’s merchants team is Rob Negus, who takes up the post of national accounts manager. Negus was previously national sales manager at Easy Trim and comes with 20 years’ experience of the roofing and construction products industry.
