Borche is one of the largest injection moulding machine manufacturers in the world. The new Borche BS series injection moulding machine has already proven to increase the overall manufacturing capacity by 23% in comparison to its predecessor due to its size and tooling capabilities.

The £90,000 investment is the latest to join the fleet of Borche machinery purchases made by the manufacturer. The switch to Borche will help the firm keep up with demand and drive down operational costs.

Daniel Hancox, business support manager at Russell Roof Tiles, said: “There are two main factors we took into consideration before purchasing the new machinery and that’s its cost efficiency and eco-credentials. The new Borche machine can save between 20 – 80% of energy compared to a traditional hydraulic system. It’s a great piece of machinery that aligns with our sustainability and Net Zero goal as it helps to reduce our carbon footprint. We’re delighted with the performance of the machine and expect that Borche will continue to be part of our future plans.”
