Independent builders merchant RGB has supported the renovation of Somerset Wildlife Trust’s new headquarters in Wellington by donating materials.

The Wiveliscombe branch of the merchant based in the south west of England provided 100 litres of paint to the charity.
Having recently purchased the former Banardo’s home, thanks to a generous donation left to them when a member passed away, the Trust is now busy finishing the renovation in time for an opening event in June.
David Foot, assistant branch manager at RGB Wiveliscombe, said: “RGB recognise the challenges faced by charities and community groups who are reliant on donations to continue, which is why it’s extremely important to us to be able to offer support when we can. We were delighted to be able to donate some paint to the Somerset Wildlife Trust and we wish them every success with their renovation.”
Somerset Wildlife Trust has in excess of 20,000 members and over 70 nature reserves in the county. They are committed to restoring ecosystems by creating living landscapes for wildlife and people. As a charity, they rely 100% on donations and their members to generate £2million per year.
