Children’s Hospice South West, founded in 1991, provides care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families, including respite and short breaks, emergency care, palliative and end-of-life care.

The charity has three wonderful children’s hospices across the South West – Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm in Somerset, and Little Harbour in Cornwall. The 24-hour specialist nursing care offered at each hospice is not simply about medical and nursing care for sick children, but about enriching the lives of children and their families.

Paul Courtney, director of fundraising at Children’s Hospice South West, said: “We are so pleased that the staff at RGB have selected us as their chosen charity for this year. Across the South West we support children and young people living with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses. We provide day visits, resilience stays for the whole family, end-of-life care, bereavement support, and the team also offer home visits and virtual support. This would not be possible without the generosity of supporters like RGB, which will ensure we make the most of short and precious lives across the South West.”

Jenny Naylor, managing director of RGB, added: “We are proud to announce Children’s Hospice South West as our charity of the year. Their incredible work to provide care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families is truly inspiring. As a company, we believe it is important to give back to our community and support those in need. We’re honoured to support the charity for the next 12 months and have some exciting fundraising ideas in the pipeline to contribute to this worthy cause.”
