Timber importers, builders and plumbers merchant Haldane Group has appointed Peter Hindle MBE to the position of Regional Chairman at the company’s operations in England and the Isle of Man.
Hindle’s four decades’ experience in the merchant industry include Managing Director of Jewson, CEO and General Delegate of Saint-Gobain in the UK, Ireland, and South Africa where he oversaw global expansion. He was also chairman of the Builders Merchants Federation, and awarded an MBE in 2009 for services to the Building Industry and Charity.

The family-owned Haldane Group was founded in 1946 and has a reported turnover close to £200m.
