Polypipe Building Products appoints new MD

Polypipe Building Products has appointed Steve Currier as its new managing director.

Currier moves to the Doncaster production centre from his previous role as vice president and general manager for the Life Safety Division and director of strategic transformation at Eaton Corporation, a global power management company.

Currier also joins Genuit Group plc, Polypipe Building Products’ parent company, as divisional managing director, Residential Systems.

In his new role, Currier will be focused on developing and growing Genuit Group’s Residential Systems business, ensuring Polypipe Building Products leading brands and innovative solutions are at the forefront of creating a more sustainable built environment.

He replaces the previous Managing Director Steve Heeley, who stepped down from his role at Polypipe Building Products to pursue other opportunities outside of Genuit Group.
