PJH adds 75 new vehicles to fleet

PJH has announced it is adding 75 sustainable vehicles to their national transport fleet, with a new modern livery.

The vehicles range in size from 3.5 ton vans to 44 ton articulated trucks, that are extremely low emission Euro 6 models. The new fleet also forms of PJH’s commitment to improving their customer service and its growing next-day delivery proposition.

Shaun Berry, national transport manager at PJH, said: “This is the biggest refresh of PJH vehicles ever carried out in a single year. The new fleet will assist PJH enormously in attaining its sustainability goals as well as lowering its costs, through a reduction in fuel use, and reliability. The fleet’s new eye-catching livery will also increase our profile, as they travel the length, and breadth of the country, projecting the fresh, vibrant and successful outlook of the PJH brand.

“With the number of deliveries we make annually approaching the 340,000 mark, and a next-day delivery offering 91% of UK postcodes, the new vehicles will improve our customer service even further as their greater reliability means more vehicles on the road able to complete deliveries on-time and when customers are expecting them.”

PJH, which was established in 1972, is the UK’s largest supplier of bathrooms, appliances, sinks and taps with over 355,000 sq ft warehouse.
