The team behind Omnico has reunited to form a new business, Refocus Consultants Ltd, a management consultancy focusing on the merchant market.
The team, comprising Colin Evans (pictured), Steve Binney, Duncan Perry and Doug Pipe, the former directors and owners of Omnico, is back together once more having left the business following the sale in 2005 to SIG plc.
Managing director Colin Evans comments “In our previous roles with Omnico we always felt that there was a gap in the market for a consultancy business with real, hands on experience of the unique challenges that merchants and their suppliers face.
“We can tailor our service to ensure that even the smallest businesses can benefit from our experience without putting too much strain on their cost budgets.”
The Refocus service offering encompasses the whole merchant/supplier operation, including strategy, finance and reporting, branch operations (inc. Health and Safety), IT review, sales and marketing, purchasing, HR management, expansion and exit planning.
