NMBS – Inspiring the next generation
Chris Hayward Managing Director of NMBS, joined up with Stephen Gould, Managing Director of Everards Brewery to provide a ‘Speedy Speakers’ session to local school, Fullhurst Community College, which aimed to help raise awareness about work, aspirations and the need to achieve for Year 9 (14-15 year olds) students before they embark on their two years of GCSE study.
The presentations were focused on providing an introduction to the world of work and the importance of working hard and being the “Best you can at whatever they do”.
Chris Hayward said: “It is great to team up with another major employer and business in the Leicester Area and to try to make a difference by engaging with young students and hopefully providing the inspiration and desire to do well. Fullhurst Community College is an excellent centre of learning and is a high performing school which we are very happy to support”.
