Mueller money means kids can play

Mueller Europe has come to the rescue of a mixed soccer team who discovered that the league rules insisted on them having an away strip.

Mueller money means kids can play

The company donated the much-needed cash so that the Gornal Colts under 9’s could play.

Now the squad of 12 will be running out onto the pitch in Lower Gornal, west midlands, with the Mueller Europe logo on their shirts.

Fundraising manager and linesman Ian Jones said: “This sponsorship is most welcome and the team is delighted. We’ve had to change our strip due to league rules and we were totally unaware how little money we had available.

Neil Overton, sales and marketing director at Mueller Europe said: “We believe in supporting our community wherever possible and when I heard from Ian it was a pleasure to help.”
