MKM Warrington has announced its sponsorship of TEDxWarrington for the second time as the event returns on November 16 with the theme “Tackling Adversity”.
MKM Warrington explained that it supports various community initiatives and causes in the Warrington area.
David Harari, branch director of MKM Warrington, said: “It’s a pleasure to be able to sponsor TEDxWarrington as it returns for a second year. Last year’s TEDx was hailed as one of the best events the town has seen, sharing ideas across technology, entertainment, design, science, humanities, and business. It sparked lively debate and inspired the open-minded, curious people of Warrington to rethink, change their lives and see how they can have a wider impact on the world.
“This year’s theme is “tackling adversity through embracing change by sharing fresh ideas that reflect diversity, innovative spirit and strength of character”. I like to think that MKM’s diverse and innovative approach to doing business is carried positively through the Warrington branch; having the ability to do things differently allows us the space to try new things without fearing failure, it fosters ideas from all areas of the team and means we can react quickly when there’s a need to change.”
The branch actively collaborates with local businesses, sponsors sports teams, and strives to create a supportive community environment. The recent recognition of Co-Branch Director David Harari, with the ‘Paul Harris Fellowship’ by the Warrington Rotary Club underscores MKM Warrington’s commitment to going above and beyond in supporting and enriching the local community.
Harari added: “This encourages team members to grow and develop themselves personally and not just their careers. I’m certain it will be another incredibly inspiring event and I’m looking forward to finding out the speaker line-up in the coming weeks – I’ve no doubt it will be excellent calibre!”
Kirsty James, TEDxWarrington licensee and organiser, commented: “I am delighted to be welcoming back MKM Warrington as an official TEDxWarrington Sponsor. Their support for two consecutive years is invaluable in terms of staging such as high profile, yet non-commercial event in the town which relies on funding from local businesses and organisations.
