Howdens launches new sponsorship with darts player Charlie Manby

Howdens, the trade kitchen supplier, has launched a new sponsorship with darts player Charlie Manby.

Charlie “Champagne” Manby, from Huddersfield, has found success in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, and until recently combined playing darts with his work in the trade as a bricklayer.

In 2025 recorded the highest ever 9-dart average of 130.7 whilst playing in a Development tour tournament, and last year he reached the Last 16 on his debut appearance at the World Championships at Alexandra Palace.

The Howdens sponsorship includes shirt sponsorship, event appearances and tickets to events.

Director of marketing at Howdens, Conor Laville, said; “Charlie represents the next generation coming through, and he hasn’t forgotten where he started. Balancing his trade with competing at the highest level says a lot about his mindset. That work ethic mirrors the customers we support across the UK, and we’re pleased to be backing him at this stage of his career, and our depots across the UK will be cheering him on as he pushes on this season”
