Long Rake Spar colour up aggregates

Long Rake Spar, the decorative aggregates people, have a new coloured natural dashing aggregate free from iron sulphide, which can cause discolouration.

Long Rake Spar colour up aggregates

Honey Yellow marble is a pale golden yellow coloured dashing aggregate which is totally iron free.

Until recently, many yellow or golden coloured dashing aggregates were sourced from gravel deposits which may contain iron sulphide that oxidises with weathering. This results in rust staining and brown discolouration to the render.

Sarah Hill, marketing manager at Long Rake Spar says: “The range of golden yellow coloured aggregates has always been a popular choice for customers and they now can be confident that a product is available which will not result in iron staining. The size and colour of this product are immensely consistent and can be used in conjunction with other aggregates for different colour effects.”

Wall finishing products are just part of the wide range of landscape design aggregates available from Long Rake Spar, including eco aggregates, which are supported by a range of packaging and marketing literature.
