Lafarge beats charity target for Children In Need

Boots, Stetsons and check shirts were out in force at the headquarters in Syston, Leicester as staff were encouraged to dress up for the day with a country and western theme.

Everyone paid at least £1 and a raffle, bingo and bring and buy sales also brought money rolling in.

Prizes of a free Christmas dinner in the staff café were given out for those with the best costumes.

The original target was £500, but the day eventually brought in £1,000.
