Kent Blaxill’s new decorating centre in Sevenoaks is now officially open with Cllr Avril Hunter cutting the ribbon on August 22.
James Park, managing director, said: “We’ve been searching for a suitable location for some time and the Vestry Road area offers all we wanted for our customers including good access for both trade and retail customers. It’s exciting to bring new paint brands to the area, including the No. 1 Scandinavian brand, Tikkurila, who offer a variety of superior interior and exterior paint products, plus trusted brands such as Dulux, Little Greene, Paint Library and Farrow & Ball.”
“Our Sevenoaks’ store has been designed to enable customers to select colour in relaxed surroundings. We are thrilled to be joined by new Manager Margret Szkoda who has a wealth of experience in both retail and trade. Our industry is now seeing more women in all areas of both trade and retail and we are pleased to have Margret on board at this flagship store. Our KB team can offer advice on our complete range of products and we offer a multi-mixing machine with the full range of Farrow & Ball available onsite instantly as well as mixing other trade paints including Dulux, Tikkurila, Armstead, and Sandtex all from stock, saving time and money on delivery.”
Park added: “We are very grateful to Councillor Hunter for joining us to open the new store. Our ethos is based on quality products, fair pricing and customer service and we know this will be attractive to quality tradesmen, interior decorators and DIY enthusiasts across Sevenoaks and the surrounding areas. We’ve invested over £150,000, created 3 new jobs, and brought a new decorating offering to the area. We look forward to forming new relationships over the coming months as ultimately, that is what successful business is about. This year has been an incredibly busy one for us, following on from new stores openings in Thurrock and Kettering.”
