Kent Blaxill adds branch in Kettering

Independent merchant Kent Blaxill’s opened a new decorating centre in Kettering on February 17^th, 2022.  Managing Director James Park said, “We looked for a suitable location for some time so it’s great to see our 3,000 sq ft location at Vista Park, on the Telford Way Industrial Estate now open. We’ve created 3 new jobs on a site that offers easy access for trade and retail customers.  It’s exciting to bring new paint brands to the area, including the No. 1 Scandinavian brand, Tikkurila, who offer a variety of superior interior and exterior paint products, as well as trusted brands such as Dulux, Little Greene and Farrow & Ball.

“We are grateful to Councillor Scott Edwards, Mayor of Kettering, who joined us for the official ribbon cutting – opening a store in Kettering has been on our agenda for a number of years, so it was very pleasing to see the doors open.  Our ethos is based on quality products, fair pricing and customer service and we know this will be attractive to quality tradesmen, interior decorators and DIY enthusiasts across Kettering and the surrounding areas.  We’ve invested over £175,000 in this new store, creating 3 new jobs, and bringing a new decorating offering to Kettering.  We look forward to forming new relationships over the coming months as ultimately, that is what successful business is about.”

After Kettering, the company will be opening a new store in Thurrock in the Spring.
