Builders merchant Jewson has revealed it is now the official partner for Isuzu’s entry into the 2014 Britpart MSA British Cross Country Championship (BCCC).
The BCCC is a domestic off-road racing championship, consisting of six two-day competitive rallies across Scotland and Wales. The 12-month partnership will see Jewson logos displayed prominently at every event on the pick-up’s new livery and on team apparel.
The officially named ‘Jewson Isuzu D-Max Rally Team,’ will compete in class 1B of the six-series championship and will race in Isuzu’s award-winning D-Max pick-up. Former British Rally Championship contender, Jason Sharpe, will drive the racer alongside his nephew, Russell Sharpe.
Tony Munro, marketing services director at Jewson, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring Isuzu’s entry into the BCCC. We already have a wide ranging partnership with Isuzu, and given that the brand is so synonymous with the construction sector, we’re very much looking forward to building on that relationship even further.”
