James Burrell celebrates York branch renovation

Independent builders’ merchant, James Burrell is celebrating the completion of a major six-figure renovation at its branch located on Clifton Moor Industrial Estate in York.

The branch, which opened in 1997, now has a brand-new trade counter area complete with high quality product displays, enabling the team to offer an even wider range of products onsite for tradespeople.

To showcase the upgraded facilities, the company are inviting both new and existing customers to visit the branch to take advantage of the current voucher rewards scheme, product deals and prize draws with some amazing prizes including hotel stays, restaurant vouchers and gaming consoles.

Richard Day, Regional Sales Manager at James Burrell, said: “We’re pleased to have now completed our major renovation project at our York branch. This investment provides us with the infrastructure to further develop our product offering and services amongst our valued customers across the local area and beyond.”

The business is also continuing to invest in its fleet of 49 vehicles, helping it to deliver 1400 tonnes of building materials each and every day across its branch network across the North East and Yorkshire. They have also recently proved their commitment to exceeding the industry standard by achieving bronze and silver accreditation under the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) and becoming a Construction Logistics and Cyclist Safety (CLOCS) champion at all 11 branches.
