Michael Gray, GROHE UK’s training manager, provides his reasons why the GROHE Rapido T thermostatic mixer valve is a suitable choice for installers.
The Rapido T is manufactured to be quick and easy to install. The valve body is already built into the blue protective casing as a one-step solution. It has clearly marked inlets and outlets, and only needs a 70mm installation depth – great for small space requirements.
It can also be suitable for installations where the hot and cold feeds are piped up incorrectly, only requiring a reverse thermostatic cartridge.
GROHE’s Rapido T has sought after TMV2 approval, providing protection against scalding by automatically controlling the water temperature, and stopping the flow of water if the temperature rises too high.
It is 100% factory tested and comes with a 5 year guarantee, so both the installer and customer has peace of mind when the product is fitted. All working parts inside the Rapido T are serviceable for maintenance.
