Grant UK raises £10,000 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance

Grant UK has proudly raised a further £10,000 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance, a local charity that the Company has supported since 2019. This latest donation follows another successful year of fundraising activities carried out by the Grant UK team in 2022.Grant UK presents WAA with 10000 for 2022 fundraising

Throughout last year, Grant UK’s employees took part in a series of fundraisers in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance, a local charity which provides critical medical care in Wiltshire, Bath and the surrounding areas. Like so many charities, Wiltshire Air Ambulance relies on donations from the public and Grant UK is very pleased to support this local cause and the excellent work it carries out in the community. Wiltshire Air Ambulance has been Grant UK’s chosen charity since 2019, a decision made by the Company’s employees, and over the years the Grant UK Team have taken part in a wide range of fundraising activities.

In 2022, either side of Grant UK’s move to new premises, the Team organised and took part in bake sales, wellness initiatives and other fun-filled events which helped raise funds for Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Grant UK’s Christmas Staff Raffle returned for another year as well, with suppliers providing generous prizes and the ticket sales to staff raising over £1,000 for the charity.

“Everyone at Grant UK has enjoyed fundraising and supporting Wiltshire Air Ambulance for another year,” comments Anna Wakefield, Head of Marketing at Grant UK. “We have been working closely with this great local charity for several years now and our enthusiasm to raise money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance has increased year on year. We are thrilled to present this new donation of £10,000 which brings our grand total raised for the Charity to £45,000 which is something we are incredibly proud of.”

Wiltshire Air Ambulance Corporate Partnerships Lead, Naomi Barker, writes, “Each year we need to raise £4 million to keep the helicopter flying and continue saving lives. We receive no regular direct Government funding or National Lottery, so we have to rely on generous donations from the public and local businesses, such as Grant UK, to help support our lifesaving work.

“This latest donation from Grant UK means the Company has now donated over £45,000 to Wiltshire Air Ambulance in the space of three years, which is enough to keep us operational for four days! We can’t thank all the staff at Grant UK enough.”
