Galleon Fixings team conquers Yorkshire Three Peaks

3 Peaks 2

A team of employees from the Galleon Fixings Group, including colleagues from both ForgeFix and Harrison & Clough, took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on June 21, raising over £3,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The 11-strong group, joined by friends and family, climbed 26 miles across Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough within 11 hours.

The team completed the route with over 650,000 collective steps and approximately 7,500 calories burned per person.

Michael Brown, CEO at Galleon Fixings Group said: “I’m incredibly proud of the team for taking on such a tough challenge with passion and purpose. Their determination reflects the core values we hold at Galleon Fixings —resilience, teamwork, and doing the right thing. Raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, an organisation that makes a vital difference to so many lives, makes this achievement all the more meaningful.”

The fundraiser remains open for additional contributions.
