Essex builder steps up to the crease with Ridgeons.

Nigel Jervis – a plumber and builder from Toppesfield in Essex – scooped the tickets to see England take on South Africa during the first day of the npower test after picking up an entry form from Ridgeon’s Saffron Walden as part of the Dunlop Adhesives The Sporting Year promotion.

Launched at the beginning of 2008, The Dunlop Adhesives Sporting Year is part of the company’s commitmnent to helping merchants drive sales, by capitalising on the strong association between the Dunlop brand and sport. Each quarter, a purchaser of their products wins tickets to a different high-profile sporting event.

In March, a tile fixer from Northumberland walked away with tickets to see the John Smith’s Grand National at Aintree whilst the next prize up for grabs is the opportunity to win flights, accommodation and tickets to see the Italian Grand Prix in Monza in September.

The 12-month campaign is fully supported by advertising, Point-of-Sale relating to each giveaway and special Sporting Year merchandise.
