Construction gets ninth minister in eight years

The UK construction industry is to get its ninth construction minister in eight years with the move of Ian Pearson to economic minister to Treasury.
Pearson had done fewer than nine months as construction minister, having taken over from Shriti Vadera when the latter moved to the Cabinet Office.
