Builders merchant rebuilds after fire

Gloucestershire builders merchant Hale & Co have completed the first of three rebuilding phases following a devastating fire at their premises earlier this year.
New warehousing and a sales office have been completed, with the second phase to rebuild warehousing space and bring in new warehousing for insulation products is underway.

The third and final phase will be the rebuild of the state-of-the-art heating and plumbing centre, which the company expects to be completed next year.

Plumbing and heating materials will be housed and sold from the main store building until the new centre is built.

In June, warehouses full of stock and a plumbing centre that was only a year old were destroyed in a huge blaze fought by up to 80 firefighters.
