A new show from building trade radio station Fix Radio, is being sponsored by British Gypsum and features Chris Frediani, the plasterer from BBC TV’s DIY-SOS as host
The Plastering Show will air on Fridays at 1pm each week and be a real focal point for thousands of plasterers up and down the UK to highlight the best tools and techniques, along with sharing stories of past work and future business operations as the trade finds its way out of the Covid-19 crisis.
British Gypsum Marketing Director, Stacey Temprell, said: “We are really proud to be involved in Fix Radio’s new Plastering Show and our team are excited at the prospect of working with Chris over the coming months. Not only will listeners find it very entertaining but we will be providing them with lots of useful support and information to help enhance their working days.”
Tony Dibbin, Consult Content Director for Fix Radio said: “Chris is probably one of the most well-known genuine trades in the country. He has the best stories and I just know the audience of Fix Radio will welcome him onto the site radio week in week out with open arms”.
Frediani has been a part of the DIY-SOS team for over 20 years. He said: “I’ve always fancied doing some radio as it’s such an important part of a tradesman’s life. It’s the first thing out of the van in the morning and the last thing to get packed away in the afternoon. I can’t wait to play some amazing tracks while talking about what I know and love… plastering!”
Fix Radio launched three years ago and is the only radio station in the UK dedicated to entertaining and informing the construction industry and associated trades. It is home to expert trade presenters The Bald Builders, Clive Holland, Thomas Nagy and Andy Cam, as well as experienced radio guys Tony Dibbin and Jack Edwards.
