British Business Bank MD signs up for BMF Members Day

She joins Britain’s richest plumber Charlie Mullins and CEO of Next Lord Wolfson as speakers confirmed for the event to be held at the Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire on the 17th September.

As managing director for Lending Solutions, Ozcan is responsible for the design and delivery of a range of government funded programmes that support the flow of debt-based finance into smaller UK businesses.

The largest of these is the Enterprise Finance Guarantee scheme, which has supported lending of £2.2bn to over 21,000 businesses (as at end of March 2014) to make credit more widely available to viable businesses in the construction and other industries.

The BMF’s own Trade Credit Scheme is part of the wider pilot scheme overseen by the British Business Bank.

BMF MD, John Newcomb, said: “This promises to be an extremely interesting session. The work of the new British Business Bank is particularly pertinent in the light of the difficulties businesses in our industry have in raising finance from high street banks. In addition to the Enterprise Finance Guarantee, their other services include Start Up Loans, the Angel CoFund and the Market Invoice and Funding Circle lending platforms.”
