Beesley & Fildes, the independent builder’s merchant with 11 branches across the North West, has opened a dedicated, one stop plumbing and heating department at its Widnes branch, the first of its kind to serve the area’s trade needs.
The new facility incorporates clearly branded and signposted displays that easily enable customers to browse and buy the stock on offer. This includes an extensive range of popular trade products, such as high-quality tools and equipment, at competitive prices, from a host of reputable manufacturers.
The carefully curated selection is designed to cover all plumbing and heating eventualities, from a simple pipe repair to major complex projects, while ensuring that the branch benefits from increased pick and go sales.
Among the items showcased are a vast array of value for money central heating systems, radiators, boilers, underfloor heating, copper tubes, water tanks, waste and overflow fittings and brassware valves and accessories to suit all kitchens and bathrooms, all under one roof.
A team of Beesley & Fildes go-to specialists are also available during the counter’s opening hours to offer expert advice on all of their customers’ plumbing and heating requirements. This includes guidance around technical specifications and fitting instructions, while pointing them towards the most compatible products for the job in hand.
This results in customers being able to quickly and effectively select the items they need, without experiencing long lead times or encountering issues around diminished stock levels. In addition to this, the team is able to tailor the counter’s stock profile around any potential new customers’ needs, such as if they are required to use specific products on a regular basis.

The new counter is located at Beesley & Fildes, Hale Road, Widnes, WA8 8PX. The branch is open from Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm.
