Baxi agree Remeha merge

Heating manufacturer Baxi Group has agreed in principle to merge with European rival De Dietrich Remeha Group to form one of the biggest heating companies in Europe.
A Baxi announcement said: “This agreement follows the earlier announcement of discussions between the two companies.” Remeha Group B.V. will hold a majority of the equity in the new combination.

The deal is likely to be finalised towards the end of the year.
