Worcester Bosch has renewed its sponsorship of Tŷ Gwyrddfai, the decarbonisation hub in Penygroes, north Wales.

The continued partnership, originally announced in 2024, helped establish the hub as a beacon for sustainable housing and low-carbon technology, helping to upskill the local workforce and support the decarbonisation of homes across north-west Wales.
The company provides equipment, including heat pump and hybrid systems, to the hub, and sends its trainers down to the hub regularly to provide local installers and apprentices first-hand experience and training on the company’s products.
Darren Danks, head of training and qualification at Worcester Bosch, said “Our renewed partnership with Tŷ Gwyrddfai is part of our ongoing commitment to support the UK’s move to net zero. Providing education and upskilling opportunities for installers around alternative heating technology is essential for the electrification of home heating—which is why projects such as Tŷ Gwyrddfai are so important. We’re proud to remain involved.”
