Builders merchant Travis Perkins has implemented a new web-based fleet management system from Masternaut Three X.
The company says it has already saved around thousands of pounds in fuel costs by stamping out unnecessary engine idling.
The system uses Masternaut Three X’s GreenerFleet environmental management solution and VisuLive business intelligence application to manage and monitor 1300 commercial vehicles. Managers can access this information via the organisation’s Intranet using a user-friendly browser-based interface.

“Our aim is to minimise idling and improve our overall fleet efficiency. The Masternaut system is enabling this and we are making savings on fuel usage.”
