Superglass appoints Ken Munro as CEO

The board of independent insulation specialists Superglass Holdings PLC has appointed Ken Munro as chief executive officer with immediate effect.

Superglass appoints Ken Munro as CEO

Munro was made managing director of the company’s principal trading subsidiary, Superglass Insulation in February, and now moves into a position of overall leadership of the Superglass group.

Prior to joining Superglass as director of strategic development and sales, he occupied senior management roles within NCR Corporation, Havelock Europa plc and a number of other private businesses.

Now that the recruitment process has concluded, Alex McLeod has stepped down from the board with immediate effect, having been at the helm for the last six years, during the major part of which Superglass faced an extraordinarily challenging trading environment.

Finally, as announced on 18 May 2015, John Colley will step down as chairman of the board on 19 June 2015 and the search has commenced for a new chairperson. Mark Cubitt, senior independent director, will act as interim chairman until a permanent successor is identified.
