SIG Roofing expands in Slough

Specialist building products distributor SIG UK is opening a new SIG Roofing site in Slough, Berkshire on Monday (February 1).

The 10,288sq ft newly refurbished premises are located on the Slough Trading Estate close to J6 of the M4 and will stock a range of everyday and specialist roofing products.

The project marks the continuation of a company-wide drive to improve local services by investing in facilities and increasing the number of specialist staff available to local traders. Seven employees will be based at the branch when it opens, including a well-established team with more than 60 years’ experience between them in the roofing supply sector.

The site, part of a national network of SIG Roofing branches, also includes two 18ft delivery lorries, increasing support for customer projects by ensuring convenient delivery to site.

Branch manager, Phill English, said: “I am proud to announce the opening of SIG Roofing’s latest branch. By updating SIG sites with the latest facilities, we remain committed to investing in our local infrastructure and improving services for customers.

“Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and we are happy to continue on a journey of improvement to benefit both our customers and our suppliers.”

The new branch boasts an efficient layout and modern environment, all part of an ongoing drive by SIG to improve customer service. Its large trade counter operates under the latest Government Covid-19 health and safety guidelines.
