Plumbers merchant chain Plumb and Parts Center has enhanced its websites making them fully optimised for mobile use, designed to save time for installers.
The mobile friendly site allows users to check real-time stock availability at their local branch, order on the move, at home or in the office and save money by accessing their own personalised trade prices, manage their account (check invoices, previous orders, e-billing) and get the latest deals.
Installers can also create a product list for a job or set regular van stock items, amend or add to it and then place the order at the customer’s home. Having checked stock availability before ordering, they can then confidently give a date for the work to be done. The order in the basket can now also be shared between devices, desktop, mobile or tablet.
A new Parts Arena mobile link has been added to help users identify and order the exact part they need, without leaving the customer’s premises if logged into the Parts Center site.
