Builders’ merchant Huws Gray has announced a significant investment in its Inverness branch, further strengthening its presence across the North of Scotland.
The investment in the dual-branded PDM and Huws Gray site, sees the firm offer the largest, entirely covered, drive-through timber and sheet materials facility in the region.
The investment also sees the branch offer the widest product range across all merchanting, timber and civils needs, as well as a full landscaping range.
A new 350sqm kitchen and bathroom showroom, comprised of 20 distinct displays, will open in May, with a trade open day planned to celebrate the full branch relaunch.

Managing director at PDM Huws Gray, Eddie Hernon, comments: “Strengthening our timber offering remains a key strategic priority for Huws Gray in Scotland, and this latest investment in Inverness represents an important step in that journey.
“By creating the largest drive-through timber facility in Inverness, we’re ensuring customers have access to a high-quality purchasing environment where timber is stored indoors and protected from the elements.
“With further improvements planned, we’re looking forward to officially relaunching the branch and showcasing the enhanced offering to our customers at our upcoming trade open day.”
