Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Two members of the team at independent builders merchant buying group NMBS have passed their Diploma in Management Studies at the De Montfort University in Leicester with Distinction.
Marketing manager Dean Hayward and operations manager Vicky March have spent Thursday evenings for the past year studying at the University, as well as many hours outside of the classroom completing their coursework.
The course covered a wide range of business topics and consisted of four modules, which included: Human Resources, Finance, an Individual Management Report and Business Strategy.
NMBS are recognised Investors in People, one of 3000 companies within the U.K that has maintained its Investors in People status for more than ten years.
A major part of the Investors in People is showing continued commitment to help staff meet their training and development needs.
