Founded in 2005, Green Bros is a family-run business with branches in Doncaster, South Yorkshire and Retford, Nottinghamshire. James Green, director at Green Bros Ltd, said: “Our decision to join NBG is ultimately led by our desire to increase the growth potential of our business. We’ve established some good deals with Suppliers ourselves, but feel the time is right to step things up. The prospect of having a seat at the table within NBG is one we’re really excited about, as we firmly believe the collaboration with other like-minded businesses will allow us to build some really strong foundations for the future.

“We’re keen to diversify the product categories we can offer to our customer base, and feel we’re now in the best position to fulfil that ambition.”

Having previously been part of a different buying group, directors James and Paul took the decision to make a change with a view to being more actively involved in category buying decisions as they look to diversify their product offering.

Phil Bonar, new partner development and recruitment manager at NBG, added: “In our early meetings with James and Paul, there was no question that their business would be a great addition to NBG. Culturally, Green Bros shares all of the values we look for in a new Partner and we’re excited to see what they can bring to the group.”
