Richard Fowler, a well-known figure in the UK roofing supplies industry, has returned to roofing manufacturer Ariel Plastics, teaming back up with Paul Goddard as Commercial Managers for the North and South of the UK.
Fowler first joined in 1990 and was with the company for nearly 35 years, responsible for managing the day-to-day requirements of key accounts, including Jewson, Travis Perkins, Huws Gray, H&B, Fortis and NBG.
As part of a new structure, the pair will support the newly established business development team and also work closely with sales director Jennifer Brookes.
“I’m re-joining at a really exciting time for the business, which is planning a significant investment for the site at Staveley, has fresh new faces and is being bold in its approach,” he said. “Its ‘Sheet Happens – We’ve Got You Covered’ campaign is a great example of this, as it’s a tongue-in-cheek promotion that has got the industry talking.
Fowler will be based at the company’s head office in Staveley in North Derbyshire.
