Builders merchant Covers hosted the West Sussex heat of the Irwin Challenge to give customers the chance to win an Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
Local carpenter Seb Griffin beat over 50 other contestants by finishing the challenge in very good time of 51.03 seconds. They had to accurately cut a piece of wood, marking out, drilling, and then making sure the holes fit over 2 metal rods.
Griffin will now face the winners from all of the other heats at the final in Birmingham later this year is where he has the chance of winning the amazing car.
As a reward for his achievements at Covers, he was presented with a bagful of Irwin goodies, which included a Power drill.
