Chris Pratt makes final stages of Transport Manager of the Year award

EPD Insulation Group has announced that its Transport Manager, Chris Pratt, is in the running as one of the last five National finalists for the Transport Manager of the Year 2023 award.

In 2022, UK Logistics representing logistics businesses which are vital to keeping the UK trading, started the Transport Manager of the Year competition as a platform to display the great work UK Transport Managers do everyday.

Pratt said: “As this is a knowledge and case study-based award rather than done through votes, I was interested in applying as I felt it is more of an achievement. I have had to pass a test, submit a case study and next I have an interview with the judging panel where the winner will be decided.”

The transport manager at Greggs plc, Lee Prentice, won last year’s award. He said at the time that “I am extremely honoured to be crowned as Logistics UK’s first Transport Manager of the Year. It’s a challenging but rewarding competition and the other finalists pushed me all the way with their determination.”

This year’s winner will be announced on 30/11/23 at the award ceremony in Birmingham.
