Burdens has announced that one of its apprentices, Jay Clarke, has been nominated for Apprentice of the Year award at this year’s Lifetime Learner Achievement Awards in the Customer Support and Administration category.
Clarke is one of only three apprentices out of 280 across the UK who have been selected as an awards finalist in the category and has been recognised for his outstanding work in the Burdens Aldermaston Regional Sales Office.
Clive Summerfield, director of regional sales at Burdens, commented: “This is a great reflection of all Jay’s hard work since he started his apprenticeship in March, and the fantastic support from the Burdens Aldermaston team. We all wish Jay the best of luck with his nomination.”
The Lifetime Group’s Learner Achievement Awards are held annually and seek to recognise and reward the achievements of apprentices and their coaches. As part of the nomination process, the judges looked for evidence of how the nominees have gone above and beyond as an apprentice.
