Keith Allman, President and CEO at Masco, said: “As a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of branded home improvement and building products, we believe in and continuously strive to deliver better living possibilities — for our homes, our environment and our community.

“Motivated by the prospect of a better world, we strive to maintain high standards of excellence, accountability and leadership.”

This includes the group’s industry-leading innovations, such as pre-fitted flow emitters to manage the flow of water, infrared taps that automatically turn off when not in use, and eco-start technology which reduces boiler usage when using taps.

Plus, 90% of the water used during endurance testing and development of Bristan Group’s water-efficient product is recycled through its UKAS-accredited lab.

As a zero-to-landfill company, Bristan Group also has extensive measures in place to ensure that the 295 tonnes of waste produced each year are recycled, reused or repurposed.

These measures extend from the transit packaging of products that is made from recycled materials, to the 137 tonnes of waste cardboard from warehouse operations, which is recycled into new cardboard.

In fact, its award-winning operations centre will soon have solar panels at its head office in Tamworth, Staffordshire, which is expected to generate 600kw/hour of electricity to support business operations and will equate to a CO2 saving of 143,003 kgs per annum.
