Wood panel manufacturer MEDITE SMARTPLY is proud to celebrating 50 years of manufacturing MDF.
Operating under the anniversary banner, “Trusted for 50 years. Built for what’s next”, MEDITE MDF (medium density fibreboard). has seen countless product innovations since the brand’s conception, with some of its most-loved lines including MEDITE PREMIER, MEDITE MR and MEDITE TRICOYA EXTREME (MTX).
MEDITE SMARTPLY has also announced a €75 million investment programme to support the next phase of MDF manufacturing at its Clonmel facility, which produces approximately 400,000m³ of MDF products each year. At the centre of the programme is the replacement and renewal of the production factory’s existing biomass boiler system, alongside upgrades to fuel handling, dryer systems and associated infrastructure that are central to the site’s manufacturing operations.
