VADO joins the BMF

Bathroom brassware manufacturer VADO is the newest member of the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) boosting the trade association’s Plumbing & Heating sector.

VADO joins the BMF

Established in 1988, the Somerset-based company has an annual turnover of £30m and employs 160 people.

Now part of the Norcros Group, VADO’s high end bathroom brassware is specified for projects around the world.

VADO UK managing director Jim Williams said they are delighted to be a part of the BMF.

He said: “Merchants have been a key part of our growth in recent years and are definitely key to our future plans. BMF membership will help us in our aims to get closer to our merchant customer base, understanding their needs and positioning ourselves to better service them.”

Welcoming VADO to the BMF, managing director John Newcomb, said: “I’m delighted that VADO sees the benefit of BMF membership to help them develop stronger relationships with merchant customers.

“The formation of the specialist Plumbing & Heating Sector earlier this year has given a real impetus to that section of the market with the Federation. Our first P&H group meeting delivered real value for the 23 merchant and supplier companies in attendance, and the value of participation will undoubtedly multiply as more specialists, like VADO, get involved.”
