Ebbsfleet FC is Plumb Center competition winner

Football club Ebbsfleet United has won the Best Loosers competition run by plumbers merchant Plumb Center.

The club’s prize is a £100,000 make-over of the outdated lavatory facilities at their Stonebridge Road ground in north Kent.

Ebbsfleet beat clubs like Barnsley, Bradford City, Exeter City, Oldham Athletic and Plymouth Argyle.

Plumb Center launched the Best Loo-sers competition because it recognised that it was a pipe dream for many cash-strapped football clubs to improve their loos.

The makeover will be helped by Plumb Center suppliers such as Twyford Bathrooms, Franke Sissons, Cistermiser and Cubicle Systems.
