Hanson Cement strides out for charity

A team from cement manufacturer Hanson Cement is gearing up to take part in a the Rutland Ride and Stride event.

The eight-hour event on Saturday, September 10 will see teams cycling and walking round the country visiting as many of Rutland’s 63 churches and chapels as they can. The aim is to raise money for the upkeep of the churches in the county – the smallest country in Britain.

The last Ride and Stride in 2009 raised £18,500.
