Wolseley Group, the plumbing and heating merchant, has announced a further strategic investment in its supply chain infrastructure, including a second specialist fulfilment centre to support customers delivering large and complex renewables projects.
Located in Darlington, the new fulfilment centre builds on the success of the Measham Fulfilment Centre, announced in September 2025. Together, the two sites form part of a long‑term infrastructure strategy designed to expand specialist capacity, improve resilience across the supply chain, and support customers as demand for renewable and low‑carbon technologies continues to grow.
CEO at Wolseley Group, Patrick Berard, commented: “Following the success of our Measham Fulfilment Centre, this investment marks another important step in building a supply chain that is fit for the future. It enables us to better support customers delivering large‑scale and complex renewables projects, while continuing to provide the reliability and service our customers expect as the market evolves.
“This is a long‑term investment in our infrastructure and our customers, ensuring we are ready to support growth in low‑carbon technologies and deliver what customers need, when they need it.”
