Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Travis Perkins have announced they have entered into a franchise agreement to open Wickes-branded stores in Ireland.
Moritz Home Improvements Ltd, which already operates a builders merchants chain in Ireland, will be responsible for operating the business. Wickes will sell products to the business from their own range and receive commission on retail sales. They will also provide training and marketing support.
Travis Perkins anticipate that the first Wickes store will open in Ireland next year.
