Trade only builders merchant Selco Builders Warehouse, is to be headline sponsor of this summer’s Masters Football tournament.
Masters Football, broadcast live on Sky Sports TV, is a six-a-side indoor football tournament and features teams of ex-professional players from around the world.
Familiar names amongst the players include Andy Cole, Steve McManaman and Gianfranco Zola.
The initial one-year deal will see Selco become title sponsor of the live events, which run from May to September. Lafarge Plasterboard will become an associate sponsor.
Simon Humpage, Marketing Manager for Selco, said: “Masters Football provides a great opportunity for Selco to build further brand recognition whilst involving our customers and staff in supporting a really exciting sporting event”.
The Grand Final will be held on September 6th, and the preliminary events will be held at seven venues: Nottingham, Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester, London, Sheffield and Birmingham.
